Get Paid in Bitcoin was founded with a simple mission: make it easy for everyday Australians to receive Bitcoin through their regular wages. We believe that everyone should have access to sound money, and that the best way to accumulate Bitcoin is through consistent, automatic purchases via your payroll.
Established in 2014 and trading since late 2015 — our first conversions went through at Bitcoin block 386,434 (3 December 2015).

GPIB was built by someone who believed in Bitcoin long before it was fashionable to say so — and who saw an opportunity to make it accessible to everyday Australians through the one thing they already rely on: their wages.

Adam Poulton
Adam's commercial background spans more than two decades in Australian telecommunications — one of the country's most regulated and competitive industries. He has worked across sales, distribution, and channel management, building a deep understanding of compliance, customer trust, and the standards that consumers expect from a financial service. Adam has contributed to industry associations and held leadership roles across the community. At GPIB, he leads business development, partnerships, and regulatory engagement — and is the driving force behind the mission to make Bitcoin wages a mainstream option for every Australian worker.
